Designer Paola Suhonen tells: Indian Summer has typical American hippie and desert imagery. I'd just moved from New York to Los Angeles where the hippie movement is still alive and kicking. My own style, too, has always had a tuch of the hippie girl. The collection was dedicated to that girl. Other sources of inspiration were childhood Indian games and the seemingly endless, hot Indian summers, when everything sinks in a yellowish haze, asphalt is steaming hot and forests are intensely green groves for adventures.
